Lauren Kenney

Vice President of Grid Modernization and Strategy / Entergy

Lauren is currently Vice President, Grid Modernization & Strategy for Entergy Corporation’s Distribution Operations. In this position she is responsible for leading the design and deployment strategy for the company’s grid modernization efforts, including advanced metering, enterprise asset management and state-of-the art distribution automation functionality. She is also responsible for evaluating new products, technologies and services that will improve the operations and customer service.

Before working at Entergy, Lauren worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP for 10 years in various roles including senior manager in the audit and assurance practice, developing audit plans and leading teams in the execution of audits for public companies. In addition, she spent time abroad in Zurich, Switzerland working in the global capital markets group assisting international companies in the process of raising capital in the U.S. financial markets through initial public offerings and private placements.

Lauren has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. Lauren resides in New Orleans with her husband, David, and their three children.
