Vice President / Boeing HorizonX
Logan Jones is Vice President of Boeing HorizonX, a pathfinder organization that explores opportunities through strategy and experimentation with business models for emerging aerospace applications, leveraging nontraditional partnerships and a venture fund that invests in early-stage startups focused on aerospace and industrial innovations.
Most recently, Jones was senior director of business development for Boeing HorizonX and Boeing NeXt, a business division focused on the future of urban, regional and global mobility. He led the team forging nontraditional partnerships and cultivating new business opportunities to extend Boeing’s core capabilities into existing and emerging markets. As one of the founding leaders of Boeing HorizonX and Boeing NeXt, he has led multiple ventures transactions and launched partnerships with multinational companies and startups to create new businesses.
He brings to the role experience in corporate strategy, business development, project management, and finance. While at Boeing, Jones has sought to stimulate the development of, and supporting ecosystem for, emerging technologies and solutions by launching new businesses and partnerships. He currently serves on the board of Wisk Aero, an urban air mobility company, and was recently chair of the urban air mobility committee at AIA.
Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Montana State University and a master’s degree in program management from Boston University. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
