Matthew Moore

Founder and Creative Director / With Character Productions

Matthew Moore is a multi-media artist and fourth-generation farmer based in Phoenix, Arizona with a Master of Fine Arts
from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Art and Art History from Santa Clara University. His video and
installation artworks are exhibited internationally. He lectures on art and agriculture across the country from San Francisco to New York, and appeared at the 2014 TEDxManhattan among other speaking engagements. His work has been exhibited
at the Phoenix Art Museum, the Sundance Film Festival, the Walker Art Center, MassMoCA, the World Congress of Soil Science in Korea, and Nuit Blanche in Canada, among many other venues. He has been featured in publications including Art Forum, Art in America, Art Lies, Metropolis, Dwell, and Architecture. He is the recipient of the Creative Capital Artist Award, the Artist Project Grant from Arizona Commission on the Arts, and the Contemporary Forum Artist Grant from Phoenix Art Museum. He is the Founder & Creative Director of With Character Productions, the parent organization for Clay Architecture & Design, Allston Interiors, UP Furniture & Ryne Studios. He is also the Co-Founder of Greenbelt Hospitality & Greenbelt Development, which seeks to embed a new type of restaurant experience into a working urban farm.
