Former Global Director of Human and Cultural Insights / Coca Cola
As founder of Macroforces LLC, Tom studies the cultural environment in which all companies and brands operate in order to develop superior business and brand strategies for thriving in the years ahead. Previously he was the Coca-Cola Company’s Global Director of Human & Cultural Insights where he spent 17 years supporting M&A strategies, brand and portfolio strategies, and Coca-Cola’s worldwide sustainability platform called Live Positively. In 2015 he was selected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences’ Roundtable on The Application of Social & Behavioral Sciences and has served on the board of advisors for the University of Georgia’s Masters of Market Research Program, Sustainable Brands, Just Capital and Mix & Stir Studio, a San Francisco-based incubator for technology companies. He’s been a keynote speaker at over 50 venues across the US and around the world and holds degrees in Marketing and Economics from San Jose State University.
